About me

I am 26 and live in Derry / Londonderry. My highest qualification is BSc Biomedical Science 1st class honors with EDGE Excel from the University of Ulster. I worked as a classroom assistant for 2 years and now work in a chemical production lab. I have been tutoring science for a few years and I recently joined this platform. I am 26 and live in Derry / Londonderry. My highest qualification is BSc Biomedical Science 1st class honors with EDGE Excel from the University of Ulster. I worked as a classroom assistant for 2 years and now work in a chemical production lab. I have been tutoring science for a few years and I recently joined this platform. GCSE exams are the first formal exams for students and can be very daunting. My approach is to help with study skills as well as the science content. Knowing how to study and learn the work set by classroom teachers and I is key. This will help students achieve their target grades. These skills are transferable to other subjects and will be used throughout their academia and career.

Jack is a great tutor and i thoroughly enjoyed working with him preparing for my chemistry and biology exams. He was always punctual, well prepared for each session and patient in addressing all of my questions. Would highly recommend Jack to anyone needing a science tutor!

Jack tutored my younger brother in preparation for his GCSE Biology and Chemistry exams in which he received AA. Obviously with the outcome we were very pleased, and have to attribute some of the credit to Jack's tutoring as not many others in his class received these grades. Jack is personable and professional, and makes a point of being very aware of his students workload across all their other subjects to avoid any burnouts! Would highlight recommend Jack to anyone.
