I am a bilingual English Speaker (I also speak Tamil) and I know how scary learning English can be. I remember thinking it was a little bit like being thrown into the deep end! I am a testimony that English isn't that daunting to learn and I aim to show the usefulness and the enjoyment you can get from English and learning it.

My lessons will be client-led, meaning we can go as fast as you like or as slow as you like and whatever content we cover is up to you. Be assured that I will not throw you into the deep end :). We can go over things as many times as you like and I always aim for quality not quantity. I understand that learning English isn't something that happens overnight and thus these things will take some time. My lessons can involve grammar; fluency; accents (I have a received pronunciation accent); spelling or even colloquial speaking. I know how hard it might be to seem like an outsider but learning English will boost your confidence and increase the quality of your interactions in English. Just like learning anything else, if needed I may assign homework or things you have to do outside of our meetings such as practicing words or speaking to other people as this will constantly re-affirm all the things you have learned within the meeting.

I also aim to show you that English can be fun! You can read books with the skills you learn; you can watch movies and you can talk to new people all by just learning a new language!
