I have been teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) or English for Foreigners (EFL) since 2006. During my career, I met a variety of people with education and cultural backgrounds, age, gender, and language.
I had worked with different national and international NGOs in Afghanistan where I learned and improved my skills and capacity. But the biggest tipping point and changes in my teaching career happened when I started working with British Council Afghanistan. I accomplished my CELTA with a B grade that shows my proficiency, passionate, and knowledge.
The methods and content can be chosen by considering different aspects of the class and learners. For example, a grammar lesson can be taught in a various way, but we have to consider learners level, interests, learning difficulties, learners learning style, and more on.
