With the experience of online classes during the pandemic (my first year of study was entirely online), I took note of methods in which my lecturers would try to keep us attentive during classes and ensure that everything taught is clear to students, especially in the case of language classes. However, compared to my university course, for my tutoring sessions I will be offering all the teaching materials that are necessary, such as: PDF format textbooks, self-made presentations, worksheets and interactive platforms that help with practising grammar and vocabulary.
For complete beginners, during the sessions, I will cover all 5 main language skills: vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and speaking.
Particularly for Japanese, the first few lessons will cover hiragana and katakana. When those two alphabets will be mastered, I will move on into vocabulary, grammar and gradually teaching 5 kanji per session. As vocabulary and grammar knows increases, I will insert speaking and listening practices.
For the people who already have knowledge in Japanese, or are currently studying but need an extra hand, I will cater my lessons so that you are able to practice whatever skills you feel less confident with.
I will also be assigning small pieces of homework in between sessions, but any extra practice is welcome. I will also be available to reach via messages if necessary at any time. I am also happy to cover topics related to Japanese culture during my lessons if any particular interests exist.
If that sounds great to you, let's learn Japanese together!
