My lessons will be taught through any platform my student is comfortable with: zoom, skype, teams etc. I will teach from a presentation, based on the topic of that lesson, which I will share on the screen with my student, alongside teaching from my own notes. I will explain and ask my student questions to ensure their engagement. In intervals, I will confirm whether they have any questions and patiently answer as many as they have. At the end of the lesson, we will answer a list of summary questions and recap what the student remembers from the lesson to strengthen their knowledge. Each lesson we will revisit what we had learnt in the previous lesson to ensure the information has solidified in their memory.
As for my experience, I taught my brother from textbooks in person and drew diagrams on a whiteboard to explain topics to him that he didn't understand. I am able to do this with my students as well as I can draw on a virtual whiteboard or to make it easier I am able to gain access to a graphic pad. My diagrams are detailed and clear as I was an art student in secondary.
I have also had previous work experience in a pharmacy where I was constantly working with people so I believe I have a great ability to communicate with my students and explain things well to them.
During school, I was always a high achiever and I think that this allows me to fluently share my knowledge with others so they can also strive in their studies.
