My experience working with KS4 students as a mentor has been marked by a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment. I have a strong background in Psychology by achieveing a B A-level grade and obtaining an upper second classification bachelor's degree. My goal is to help individuals grow their psychological skills to not only succeed in their coursework and exams, but also to apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios. The mentorship approach I will take in the sessions is a student-centered learning where I will empower students to take ownership of their own learning, fostering a sense of self-motivation and responsibility. Lessons will be structered in which key learning objectives and goals will be outlined. I promote interactivity and creativity so that the sessions will be fun. Online resources will be used to deliver content. Some of the content that will be delivered but is not limited to is looking at how the brain is involved in psychological processes, developmental aspects to psychology, social influence and peer pressure and judgement and decision-making. These topics I found to be of my most interest during the course of studying psychology the last 5 years but I am open to learn from students about their topics of interest and embrace discussions. At the end of each session, feedback will be delivered and done so as a two-way process; I will provide constuctive feedback and I will welcome students feedback as well.Your success in psychology is my priority, and I'll be here to assist you in strengthening your skills, so you can excel academically and beyond.
