My lessons will focus on you as the student, I want you to get the most out of the sessions we have together and to be able to come out of them confident in your learning and knowledge. My lessons will always begin with some form of starter which will give me an indicator of what needs to be a focus point in lesson or in a future lesson. The lesson will then consist of me teaching and explaining the work and then alot of independant questions that get harder as they go on, where you as the student can ask for help at any point. In the last 10 minutues I will give you a question that can be completed but it is more in an exam style form as this introduces you to the styles of questions you are likely to see in your exams.

In these lesson I want you as my students to feel comfortable and calm in the lesson, so it will be more of a non formal type of lesson where there will be no pressure to answer the questions quickly it will all be taken at your own pace and own time.

I have been placed in two schools now that had very different dynamcis and students, one mainly had SEND students in so I have now expereinced adaptive teaching therefore no student should feel as though they can not come to me for additional help with mathematics as I can ensure you that I can help you.
