Lessons will follow format of assessing your specific desires and goals. Then each session will begin with addressing any current issues, either with homework or something from the past week. Then, will move onto following our own syllabus, created from our original discussion of your goals.

I graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Human, Social, and Political Sciences, I have cultivated a deep understanding of the complex interplay between societal structures, political dynamics, and human behaviour. My academic journey has equipped me with critical analytical skills, and a robust foundation in social theory and political science. It has also aided me in gaining a solid understanding of academics and how to successfully write essays and do work to a high standard and follow the rules of academic practice.

I have experience teaching English for Establissement Fatima Zohra, Essaouira, Morocco. This role included teaching children between the ages of 4 to 13. I also am currently a mentor for aspiring Oxbridge students. This role requires supporting and advising them on their application and personal statement and encouraging them to discuss their subject to gain experience and familiarity with the language and theories of their potential degree. I have also worked in education for 4 years in the Early Years sector. Therefore, I have experience with a range of age groups and have honed my skills of communication with different target groups and tailoring my teaching to the understanding level of my students.

This experience also has developed my knowledge of how education works and I have been on both sides of the process as both a teacher and a student in rigorous academic institutions. I am aware how difficult it can be to maintain focus and produce high level work, especially under exam and stress inducing conditions. Therefore, I will ensure my tutoring takes a understanding and encouraging approach that aims to rejuvenate or maintain an interest or love of learning. Which overall makes ones time in education much more enjoyable and successful.

She tutored me for A-Level Politics and I got into the University of Exeter, my first choice! A very patient, passionate, intelligent tutor, couldn’t ask for anymore! She’s especially knowledgeable in Politics and English but can also do Maths. Both my younger siblings will be heading her way once they get to Y11. Thanks Isobel!!
