I like to structure my lessons to the need of my student and mostly interactive. Like students to give immediate feedback of their understanding after each lessons.
I listen to the students request and formulate my lessons to address the needs and understanding of the student concerned. I don't like posing as an instructor rather a tutor which gives the students opportunity to feel involved and communicate with ease and establish a good relationship which is mostly effective and fascinating to the concerned students understanding of the language and also in line with the development and acquisition of proficiency in any of the world languages. Students improvements and mastering is the key aspect instead of the preparation and presentation of any lessons. Of what value is a well prapare and presented lessons that the student fail to understand and comprehend. I coordinated a French session with Speak International as a buddy and successfully completed and was honoured with an outstanding feedback from all the participants in the particular session even if that was my first time as a coordinating buddy. And my co-buddy who was expected to assist me during the sessions and was an established member and participated in prior sessions was marvel by the way and manner I was able to handle the assignment and at some point have to leave the session to me and go assist some other buddy with their sessions when there was urgent need to beef up and complement those sessions. Time difference was the constrain on my holding some more sessions because whenever a group was established, we never agree on time due to geographical time differences.
