My aim as a tutor is to help students realise their full potential. By tailoring my teaching style to each student's needs and personality, and giving them strong techniques to ensure success, I hope to give them the confidence and resilience to take on challenging subjects and do well in exams. I hope the skills I teach them, both academic and personal - including determination and discipline - will help them to succeed in their academics and beyond!

I understand that doing well at school does not directly correlate to intelligence. I also have recent and extensive exam experience and I know that a big part of doing well is knowing how to sit exams.

So, my teaching style is strategic in order to ensure understanding of maths and exam technique are both very strong. This yields a confident, self-disciplined, exam-ready student!

I follow the student's lead to ensure they are getting the most out of the lessons. I share techniques that allowed me to get 9 in GCSE maths, A* in further maths, and A in A-level maths. I expect willingness to learn and determination to do well - I will do my best to help you succeed!

My lessons are suitable for up to A level, in which I have much experience tutoring - I can also tutor functional skills and other maths courses.

My classes are online so can be arranged for nearly any time during the week to allow students maximal efficiency and flexibility with their schedule.
