Hi! I'm Isla, a first-year undergraduate Computer Science student with experience in Higher GCSE Maths (Grade 8), GCSE Further Maths (Grade 8) and A-Level Maths (Grade A). I am passionate about maths and am excited for the opportunity to tutor students to boost their understanding, experience and knowledge.

I am comfortable teaching students from any UK exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, etc.), so please just ask!

Lessons will typically follow the below structure:
- Check-in: ensuring that the student understands the content that will be covered in the lesson, and marking/going over any questions completed previously.
- Guided practice questions: completing targeted questions together to ensure understanding and correct methods are being used, as well as clarifying any confusion in the topic.
- Independent practice questions: completing more targeted questions to solidify understanding.
- Follow-up and summary: iterating over the content covered in the lesson, as well as setting practice questions to work on between sessions, or practice papers, etc.

* Practice questions will ALWAYS be relevant to the exam board being used by the student.
* I will ensure a topic is fully understood before moving on.
* I will provide additional practice papers and questions if requested.
* I will provide session summaries, reports and notes for parents if desired.
* I am available via text outside of sessions to reschedule or clarify any questions.
