I’m happy to tutor on anything from basic grammar to exam content! I’ll ensure that tutor sessions are in a relaxed environment where mistakes are encouraged - it’s how you learn! If studying for GCSEs I’ll help you by looking over your texts focusing on literary techniques, authorial context and important quotations. I’ll give you information about studying techniques and help you plan exam questions including introductions and conclusions in timed conditions, giving clear feedback on what could be done better. If studying english language, I’ll focus on giving you unseen texts to analyse and/or write about and give clear feedback on possible improvements. However, these are only suggestions and each person will be catered to according to their needs and what they may be finding more or less challenging!

I received Grade 9s in English Literature and Language at GCSE and am hoping to receive an A star in English Literature this summer at A Level. Im available most days after school and on weekends so I’ll be free to help you whenever is required and especially in the lead-up to examinations where my focus will shift more onto exam preparations such as timings and memorisation skills! I have lots of experience tutoring my younger brother, who also received Grade 9s in both Language and Literature last year and so hope to offer this same help to anyone else who needs an extra push to get the grades they really deserve! I’m excited to meet you and hope that together we can make a dream team that the exam boards won’t see coming!
