My teaching style is learner based with interactive activities such as quizzes and problem solving questions in order to help students feel involved with the topics being taught and become interested in learning about biology and its many wonders. I will be teaching topics that students are struggling to understand such as photosynthesis, meiosis and mitosis and many other topics to help students get the grades they want and to help boost their confidence and moral with biology. My lessons will be learner specific and lessons will be planned specifically for the needs of that student as no two students will be able to learn the same and have the same academic needs. I am able to help with homework and exam preparation as well to give you that last little bit of confidence before the big day.
A bit about me, Hi my name is Isabelle! I am a very friendly person and I am always excited to meet new people, I enjoy problem solving puzzles and learning about new things and I am always looking for something new to try out. I currently study at York doing a Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences, I am going into my second year and I am hoping to study Post graduate medicine after I complete my course as I am equally interested in both laboratory skills and clinical skills! I applied to become a tutor to help make learning less scary and more fun as science is filled with all sorts of amazing and intriguing discoveries!
