I generally teach online, using presentations and lecturing. I will set work, including homework, and will mark work between lessons. I will arrange my lesson plans to fit your exam board and syllabus, but I can also provide extra lessons to support the student in areas they are struggling with.
I am open to teaching online and in-person.

I have a degree in English Literature and Language from the University of Oxford. I am an expert in the English language, so I can offer support to students learning about vocabulary, spelling, grammar, punctuation, comprehension, creative writing, unseen analysis, poetry, prose, drama, literary techniques, and more. In the past, I have worked with students who were struggling to keep up in the classroom, and they have improved their grades and confidence massively after taking my classes, because I radiate my own passion and knowledge about the subject and make for an inspiring teacher.
I have extensive tutoring experience, having tutored KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students for three years. I have also mentored students with their university applications. My past students have reached great success, including being accepted into Oxford University. I am also open to tutoring University students who think they could benefit from my tutoring.
I am TESOL qualified, and have taught English as a foreign language to young children in Indonesia. I am happy to teach English as a foreign language, and know how to teach students of all ages and abilities, including total beginners, due to my experience and qualifications.
I have taken several safeguarding courses, and am qualified to work with children, and aware of the steps I need to take in the event of any safeguarding concerns.
