I am 17 years old, I have volunteered tutor sessions in high school but I’ve never done sessions outside of school. I intend to push my students as far as they can, by doing this I know I could help them reach the best grade they can. I will adapt my method to the way that best fits me and my student to help them to the fullest extent. Maths has always been my best subject and I have developed many ways of learning and teaching maths to others that I have seen to be effective. I find for some it is better to have face to face lessons and some prefer online, due to this I’m willing to offer both. I attempt to make my lessons as educational as possible while still being enjoyable for the student. If there are certain areas that the student requires work on and they are aware of it then during the first lesson we can figure out what areas they are aware of, then I can work out with areas they need help on that they may not be aware of. For the older years there would be a lot of exam question practice as it is vital you are able to apply your knowledge to questions as well as knowing the content. I have found that people are quite confident in understanding the work however they struggle to apply it to questions. For the younger years it will mostly be about understanding how to find the right answer and learning the fundamentals in the subject
