I teach mathematics in a way every learner will be able to grasp the concept.
I prefer to teach online via zoom or Google meet or any convenient media.
I give learners the overview of the lesson,the prerequisite knowledge needed in order to understand the particular l life examples are also stated to aid deeper understanding.
I deliver my lessons by allowing learners to come up with their own understanding rather than feeding them with knowledge.The constructivism method is what I used most of the time.I have experience in teaching nursery, primary,and secondary school students mathematics.I teach continuous and discrete mathematics.
I volunteered to teach university students mathematics in an academic intervention club on campus.The club is poised at broadening the understanding of concepts in mathematics which seem to be difficult. I use different teaching methods during lesson e of the methods are guided discovery,game based learning and many others. A method is used depending on the level of learners to be learners in the basic level,guided discovery will be used.I allow the learners to play with some learning materials that will aid their understanding of the particular topic.I pose questions that will make them develop their own understanding of the mathematical concept. With learners in secondary schools,the minds are equipped to take abstract ideas,they do not necessarily have to use learning materials as compared to the basic learners though teaching learning materials will be used intermittently. I am eager to give my best to the various levels of learners I will teach.
