My main format would be in the form of going through the idea behind the content. Understanding of how and why things work as they do is the driving force behind getting great marks in examinations. I would put a large focus on going through the processes and then focusing on questions and examinations.

So the format of the lesson would be starting by going over any issues from last session, then outlining a new topic and addressing how it really works. The next steps would be walking through how these will come up in exams and working through questions and problems. Then finally just wrapping up with a review of the session.
