My lessons are always different and based on the students needs and learning style. The content of my lessons will allow me and the student to converse with them leading the lesson through it being led by their concerns or struggles about a specific topic or subtopic on their specification. My experience mainly stretches back to sports coaching, where I have coached basketball for 6 years now, which is where my style of teaching stems from. I have been a maths tutor too, where my biggest achievement was helping one of my students go from being predicted between a 2 or a 3 in their GCSE maths to helping them achieve a pass. In addition to this I teach Spanish at a primary school so I have a wide range of experience in different areas. My teaching style also originates from my past teachers, where I have taken my favourite elements of their style and combined them to form the style in which I have today.
Where I differ from other tutors is that I’m younger, having just done the new formats of both the GCSE and A level courses, meaning that I know all of the current topics taught along with up to date information on how they’re taught by their teachers in school.
I’m currently studying for a degree at the University of Sheffield in Economics and Modern Languages (Spanish and German), which signifies that my knowledge will continue to grow in order to further support my students development in their subject.
