I am a Chemistry teacher for more than two decades and I have taught different students of various nationalities and different exam systems. I use different strategies to explain different concepts to the students. I have an ability of explaining a concept in variety of ways to meet the different needs of the students. I give end of topic test because I have experienced that this type of test not only helps a student to know about exam style questions but also improve their confidence in various concepts of Chemistry.
My belief in developing encouragement among the students has helped many students to become successful in their exams and in their practical lives.
However I believe students also have to put in their efforts to become good and confident learners. Therefore I make my students responsible for their learning by asking them questions, providing homework and giving them tests to prepare at the end of each week.
I always encourage my students to ask questions related to different topics and they are given the choice of the way they prefer to learn.
Regular study habits help the students to excel so I help my students to plan for their studies and provide me with their feedback after each lesson. This makes me understand if students are understanding different concepts of Chemistry appropriately and what support I can provide them in order to make them achieve outstanding results.
