Being a teacher is an extremely rewarding job. Since 2010, I have been teaching Russian as a foreign language to both groups and individual students with different language backgrounds, offering online and offline classes.
My classroom experience includes curriculum planning, preparing detailed lesson plans, delivering lessons, and providing required materials for classes of different skill levels and learning styles. I prioritize communicative methods of teaching in my classroom. I also employ TPR and elements of suggestopedia, which are, in fact, becoming more and more popular. Additionally, I use a wide range of online resources such as Quizizz, Quizlet, Wordwall, LearningApps, and others. I also prepare my own materials designed to meet my students’ individual needs.
I create an environment for students to learn effectively and motivate them with enthusiastic and imaginative presentations. Students like my classes and attend them gladly.
I effectively use ICT learning resources, being a confident MS Office user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). I provide PowerPoint presentations for each lesson I teach, which include exercises in video and audio formats.
I firmly believe that we are all talented; we just need to discover our talents. I believe that the main task of each teacher is to inspire and encourage students to reach their full potential, regardless of age or ability.
