I am your would-be Russian or EFL teacher. :-)
My name is Irina and I am from Ukraine, although I am currently living in Ireland.
I speak three languages: English, Ukrainian and Russian.
I have been teaching at state school for more than 10 years. Also I work with students one by one. The age, race, skin colour don't matter.
I have the diploma with honours from the pedagogical institute where I had been studying.
I also have the TKT certificate with the result of "Excellent" from the British Council.
I have taken the CELTA course from Cambridge and finished it with the result "Over the standard".
However, teachers are those who don't stop learning, so after a while, I participated in IHCYLT - another course for teachers run by International House and moderated by Cambridge. As a result, I have two Cambridge qualifications which allow me to call myself a universal teacher (from 3 y.o. to ...)
In March 2024 another challenge was accepted and I took a course from ETS to teach English for Academic Purposes. Now I have a qualification to prepare students for TOEFL iBT and some of them have already passed this exam successfully.
Techologies help me a lot because I am a Microsoft Certified Educator and Google Certified Educator Level 1.
