Irem Tumer Gorgulu

I have 10 years experience in teaching English to adult learners (18 plus). I have taught grammar, reading , listening and note taking skills at Foreign Language schools of universities in Istanbul. I have also taught my students in higher levels academic essay format. I have passed my dissertation on teaching writing in task-based language program in 2019 and gained masters degree from Foreign Language Teaching department in Istanbul.
For the last 6 years, I have been living in the UK which is my second home now. I have gained Level 2 degree as a teaching support assistant in July, 2024. Since November 2024, I have been working at a primary school as a learning support assisstant. I support Year 5 students in English, Maths and Science classes.
