New to the tutoring world, I want to lead dynamic, interactive sessions, focusing on a personalised tutee experience. I love learning and becoming a tutor is the perfect opportunity for me to further my learning and share my knowledge and passion. I have experience helping my class mates with homework and speaking practice in an informal environment. During my lessons I want to instil a positive and fun learning experience in order for my tutees to accomplish their goals. During the first session we will assess your current level and establish what you want to achieve and get out of the lessons. From this, we can discuss what level to set you at and I will provide a list of resources associated with that level. I am an organised and goal-orientated individual and I want to use some of the practices I have learnt from books written by psychologists and scientists to help create a plan with you. Some of the areas we will cover include tenses, grammar, reading, writing and listening. I will use resources such as academic textbooks, Spanish literature books (e.g., La Casa de Bernarda Alba by Frederico Garcia Lorca) and films. We will explore an array of topics from geography, history, art and gastronomy. Since I am new to tutoring, I will take on a dynamic approach to my lessons, using feedback from you to improve the learning experience as we go along. I am happy to receive positive and constructive feedback, as ultimately my goal is to ensure you learn to speak Spanish, and importantly in a positive, fun way.
