Tailored lesson to student needs and concepts, hands on exercises. Prefer q & a sessions weekly from syllabus that have been taught. Reference from various sources based on the topic so that the student might understand the concepts and theories better. Materials like worksheets will be given. Students should be engaging and supportive so that the interaction will be easier for me. I tend to be free so that the student gets good rapport and comfortable in communicating sharing, learning stuffs. Doubts will be cleared then and there. And as i come from science and medicine background i think student might get more knowledge what is happening in science related studies. Also not only sharing knowledge to students but allowing critical thinking so that it will be useful for them to understand better. Lessons will be taught practically and with real life example will be compared in possible areas. I encourage active participation of students. As i will ask them to incorporate theories into diagrams for biology so that they are easy to know what is happening and where it is happening. I personally think understanding concepts is better than memorising. As for biology i would cover topics from basic biology to advanced biology topics like cell biology, genetics, ecology, human evolution and human anatomy. Overall my teaching style is very simple and straightforward so it is not stressing the student with more contents. I make sure student is very happy and engaged with learning the particular subject without boring.
