Indika Alahapperuma

I am a BSc engineering degree holder and currently following my PhD at University of Strathclyde.
I obtained 4 A passes at my GCE (A/L) examination from the mathematics stream. Practising as an IT professional over 20 years helps to team well IT and computer science subjects. Because, I can bring my industry experience and practical aspects to the teaching.
I have been teaching for students at different levels both science and mathematics since my undergraduate time. In addition to that, I conduct computer and IT classes as well. I follow a student centric teaching approach by getting involve students for the lesson. I encourage students to ask questions and provide constructive and clear feedback to students.
In addition to that I check how they are doing at the school, college or university and help them to perform better by clarifying their doubts.
A lesson consists of theory followed by assignments and/or activities. Those assignments and questions will help them to understand and remember the theory better.
