I am in my final year of my undergraduate degree in Physics, and I have been tutoring for just over 6 years. I have good experience in teaching Maths at different levels. I studied Maths, Physics, and Chemistry for A level so I hope my maths skills can be of help to you.
I like to have very interactive lessons to keep my students engaged throughout the lesson and I always make sure they understand what I am explaining to them. I found my students to learn more when I kept them engaged by constantly asking them questions and testing them on a particular topic.
I like to use zoom for my lessons as it allows me to give the student that interactive lesson that I believe is important and it allows me to illustrate my ideas and reasoning to the student allowing them to understand better.
A lesson from me consists of firstly going over a topic, grasping what you understand and seeing what you have been struggling with. Then I explain anything that you may not understand and give you a few example questions to help you further. To round up, I allow you to try a few questions on your own to test your knowledge which is then followed by marking and corrections. I also like to set homework assignments that you can complete outside of our lesson time and its something I am particular about. I set homework to keep you practicing what we did in lesson and to help you to remember things regarding the topic.
