I use a learner-centric method, where I like to take into account the pace and goals the learner has set for themselves. As learning a language requires active engagement, I like to set tasks which the learner can complete in their own time to refresh what they have learned as well as possibly find areas of weakness which may need more attention. I like to push the learners beyond their comfort zone while enjoying the process hence I like to teach through areas which the learner may enjoy - such as TV shows and music. I have previously seen success using this method as I have taught English as a volunteer before. From worksheets made by me specifically for the learner to setting up a timeline and goals to ensure the learner is learning at a good pace, I believe learning English has never been easier!
