Hello, my name is Iga and I have about 7 years of experience teaching English and Spanish individually and in groups.
My approach is very practical: I tailor my lessons to every student based on their level, needs, goals and age but I also consider how they like to study and what their personality is. I believe in creating a safe and inviting environment for students to practice, challenge themselves but without the fear of making mistakes. I do that by encouraging them to speak, correcting them at the right time, in a non judgemental way but also, showing them that the teacher is a human too.
I use a lot of interactive content and exercises but also try to engage my students as much as possible. I always make sure that all of the materials are appropriate for the student's age and the purpose of the lesson and check in to make that exercises are not too difficult or too easy. I finish every lesson by asking what the student liked and what they did not like about the class and adapt to the feedback.
