I have over five years’ experience tutoring students in science and maths. I first check student’s initial understanding of the topic at hand before breaking down the larger concept in a way that is individual to them. I often find analogies a useful too. I’m a believer in practice making way for complete understanding, and so I ensure to create plenty of time for practice questions or set it as a home activity.
