Ievgen Suiunov

I’m an experienced classical and jazz musician currently employed as a pianist on a cruise ship. Many of the skills in this role are transferable to teaching. In addition to this, I have got 8 years teaching experience and am looking to go back into this. I have obtained 3 higher musical educations as a jazz and academic pianist and as a composer. I have excellent communication and language skills in English, Ukrainian and Russian. I’ve worked with a number of inspiring teachers including honoured Artist of Ukraine, Professor Sergey Alekseevich Mamonov. Also, my teacher from whom I completed my Assistant Internship in the musical composition class, Honored Artist of Ukraine, Professor Alexander Nikolaevich Rudyansky. I believe that a person who wants to learn the art of musical composition must have a certain level of piano playing. Almost any symphonic work is written first on the piano as a clavier, and then orchestrated by the composer. I enjoy teaching musical composition and ensure that my students understand that inspiration and hard work underpin this.
