Having studied the Arabic Language during 5 years of my secondary education, I then successfully achieved an A* in my GCSEs. As a result, I then started teaching young kids and adults how to read, write and understand the Arabic Language from the age of 17 and have continued to do so since then.
Amongst my favourite subjects to teach is Nahw and Sarf which relate to the syntax and morphology of the Arabic Language - something which will be looked at and studied with me, in great detail. As well as Spoken Arabic - which relate to the application of vocabulary and grammar into social contexts by forming complete sentences.
My teaching method is very simple and accessible for all. It will consist of interactive whiteboard sessions, explaining each topic in great detail whilst also keeping it simple and concise so that the learner is able to benefit effectively.
The lessons will be a mix of Nahw, Sarf and Spoken Arabic. Spoken Arabic relates to the general conversational style of Arabic and applying what has been learnt in social contexts.
Nahw and Sarf form the Grammar of Arabic and is one of the most important and crucial topics of understanding the Arabic Language. The book that will be primarily studied is Duroos al-Lughah (Madinah Arabic Books) written by Dr V Abdur Raheem, an excellent book focusing on a mix of vocabulary, Spoken Arabic and Grammar all in one.
Additional lessons can also be taught regarding Reading the Qur'an at all levels - Beginner to Advanced.
