I don’t have any previous experience of being a tutor but I helped out my friends whenever they needed help understanding.
In my experience it is best to read whats been given and then discussing what we understand by it and having clarity is what brings out the best us in. This is skill and I wish to inculcate in my students. I wish to listen to their ideas and understanding and give my advices on the same.
The discussion method is the best where you can hear each other and know what is suitable. It helps learning go both ways. Sharing ideas would also make the student confident and they voice their opinions which is an important trait for being a good conversationalist.
I am a very comfortable person to talk to and I lead and work by example and make the session as interactive as possible as it would help the student gain more confidence in themselves with their vocational and writing skills. I believe in reading a lot as the more you read the more you learn and the more your vocabulary will expand.
My effective and fun learning methods will help the students learn and grasp the language and use it in everyday life.
