Ian is brilliant. He was always on time, flexible and professional. He developed a great relationship with my son and treated him as an adult, discussing his needs and tailoring the lesson around this. My son looked forward to each session and completed any homework set as wanted to do well for Ian.

Physics A level is a daunting subject and Ian is great at simplifying complex ideas and progressively making it more challenging until the whole topic is understood. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody who needs help in physics or to those who want to go above and beyond.

Ian tutored my son Tom who is at Watford Boys for A level physics. He broke down the topic into simple chunks and worked with Tom on the issues that he was least confident about and checked his understanding step by step. He was also very easy to communicate with both for me and for my son, and gave clear feedback. Tom has now sat his A level exams and said that of all his exams, physics were the ones he found easiest which is big credit to Ian. I am happy to recommend him.
