I have always been fascinated by the drums, having grown up with my dads stories of playing with Jimi Hendrix. I have been teaching for over 20 years and I love to inspire people to be the best drummer that they can be.

I have been teaching Trinity Rock and Pop drum kit exams for the past 15 years, but I am equally happy to create an individual programme of study for every pupil of mine. The key component is to make the lessons as engaging and fun as possible, the practice goals clear and to also keep a close eye on both the short term and long term musical ambitions of the student.

I studied drums and percussion at the Guildhall school of Music in London. Since graduating in 2004 I have performed and recorded across the world from Australia to Uruguay, with well known acts such as Florence and the Machine, The Irrepressibles and The Heritage Orchestra. Recording sessions include albums at Abbey Road and Maida Vale, and festival performances include Glastonbury and Bestival.
