My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each student. I begin by identifying the areas where the student needs the most support, whether it’s understanding foundational concepts, tackling more advanced topics, or preparing for exams. From there, I design a personalised plan to address these areas.
Each session typically starts with a brief review of previous topics to ensure retention and build confidence. I then introduce new material using clear explanations, breaking down complex ideas into smaller, more manageable steps. To reinforce understanding, I incorporate plenty of guided practice and problem-solving exercises, gradually moving toward independent work as the student becomes more confident.
The content of my lessons depends on the student’s goals and level. For younger students or those new to math, I focus on building a strong foundation in basic arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. For older students, including those preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, I cover advanced topics like trigonometry, calculus, and statistics, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and strategies needed to excel.
I strive to make lessons dynamic and engaging by using real-world examples and interactive techniques to help students see the relevance of math in their everyday lives. My approach is patient and supportive, fostering a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
With experience studying and teaching at a university level, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential in mathematics, no matter their starting point.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you want to improve your maths, no matter your current level!
