I tend to take a fairly consistent approach to tutoring and workshops. I set out the issue, and the theory and talk through that, and then give some practical examples. We then work through some ideas together, so that you can ask questions. I often give students and clients something to take away with them to think about before our next session. I have been able to take these experiences into my applied practice and deliver sessions that are suited to the clients level. Conversely my experience as a sport and exercise psychologist and researcher provide me with useful illustrations of psychological theory and method to help students understand complex ideas.
