Topics for beginners are greetings, numbers, family, body parts, colours, fruits, food etc and of course, cultural sessions such as the most celebrated Chinese Cultural festivals, i.e., Chinese New Year (aka Spring Festival), Mid Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival etc
I teach Mandarin through fun visual slides, songs to make the learning experience both entertaining and educational.

When it comes to preparing students for GCSE Mandarin examinations, I adhere to the AQA syllabus. In this context, I place a strong emphasis on the four core language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Through a combination of structured exercises and interactive activities, I ensure that students are well-prepared to excel in their GCSE Mandarin assessments.

By blending these teaching methods, I aim to create a comprehensive and stimulating learning environment that caters to the needs and preferences of all my students, fostering a deeper appreciation for the Mandarin language and Chinese culture.
