I like to teach online via Zoom, offer flexible teaching hours. Depending on the location, I would be happy to teach in-person too although this may be difficult at times. I like the lessons to be student-led so I tend to work on topics that students bring to me asking for help. Can also help with enrichment qualifications too, like maths challenges and olympiads. Willing to go above and beyond to help my students!

I have had nearly 10 years of experience tutoring maths at all levels up to and including A-levels. I have been able to get a student from a 5 to an 8 in the space of 4 months, using efficient methods and installing a work ethic in my student to maximise their potential.

I am a very friendly person and welcoming; however, there will be times where I will be strict and harsh towards the student, particularly if I feel as though they're not maximising their potential or are not working at the required standard I expect of them. Usually, I like to make the lessons fun and enjoyable for the student and like to simplify the problems so that students can understand and navigate their way through questions in an easier manner. Also, I like to avoid using a calculator whenever possible, having seen multiple students falter in A-levels due to the fact that they over-rely on a calculator at GCSE level and thus don't train their brain enough, meaning that they lose their work ethic and encounter problems further down the line. Having been a student myself, I know what it takes to be successful and have a very good track record myself.
