My lessons would be jam packed with activities that are not only beneficial in the education sense, but will also be entertaining, and stand you in good stead for the future. I always plan my lessons to fit the student, I do not use the same techniques and methods with everyone as we all know that not everyone learns the same way! By having me as your tutor, I hope that you would feel more confident and happy with your skills, and that you would feel more positively about that subject. It is understandable that people find things hard during study, however there are many ways to solve problems and gain back any lost confidence after a missed or misunderstood topic. In no way, shape or form do I ever make a student feel belittled or “stupid” for not knowing this. All of my students know that I understand that there is always room to improve but as long as you are trying your best - then that is the most that you can do! Even though I push my students, I do not make them feel uncomfortable and after working together I will soon gauge how much I can and cannot push and work with them. If at any point your child has questions and queries about topics, or even any concerns, it is something that I will try and work out straight away and I won’t leave it loads of lesson inbetween to address it again, just to cover the base of it!
