As a new university student, I'm fresh out of the current specifications for both of these subjects, so you can rest assured that all of the information and techniques I present have been tried & tested by myself and my students, and that you can easily use them in your course too.

My lessons are flexible to fit your needs, but typically include planning essay questions, discussing content and providing essay feedback and guidance. For politics, I also think it's important to speak about current affairs by referring to recent news reports on both UK and international news, guaranteeing you the most up-to-date examples for approaching your paper. Furthermore, I may also assign reading/a short task to be done between lessons, so please be prepared to spend 30-60 minutes a week working on this as it will help you to gain the most out of our sessions.
