I am a friendly, dedicated student with a strong knowledge of biology and chemistry and performed well in both subjects in GCSE and A levels.

I have got a 2:1 BSc degree in Biomedical Sciences and now study MBChB Medicine at the University of Glasgow.

I have a flexible approach to my teaching and will aim to adapt all tutoring sessions to an individual's learning style. My own learning style is visual and so I will always aim to use good diagrams and flow-charts to explain key concepts. I would thoroughly encourage students to ask me questions as it is often a good indicator of their own understanding, helps me identify strengths and weaknesses of the lessons and is helpful in guiding how I explain ideas more effectively in future sessions.

I have experience as a laboratory demonstrator and have successfully taught colleagues how to carry out advanced medical research techniques. I have a strong foundation of knowledge through my previous degree and have since used this to help course mates in preparation for written medical school exams.
