Vinyasa yoga is a type of yoga that involves synchronizing movement with breath. In a vinyasa yoga class, the teacher typically leads the students through a series of flowing, dynamic movements, or "vinyasas," which are linked together with the breath.
The format of a vinyasa yoga class can vary depending on the teacher and the studio. Some classes may be more physically challenging, while others may be more focused on relaxation and meditation. This will depend on my students energy and experience.
As a vinyasa yoga teacher, my experience has been that each class can be different depending on the students' needs, energy levels, and goals. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their practice and developing their skills. I aim to guide my students through a safe and effective practice that helps them to build strength, flexibility, and balance, while also cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness. I have completed my 200hr yoga teacher training in both Vinyasa and ashtanga in the beautiful yoga capital of India known as Rishikesh.
