I am an experienced classroom teacher and now looking to move to online tutoring. My experience in education as well as a strong academic foundation in the psychology of memory and learning from Cambridge University allows me to apply techniques like scaffolding and schema theory to help learners connect new knowledge to what they already understand. I have also achieved high results myself in all the subjects I tutor (A levels: Mathematics A*, Physics A*, Chemistry A*, Biology A*, GCSES: 10 9s and A^ in further mathematics). I create a positive and relaxed environment for learning so that the process is enjoyable and not stressful like classrooms often can be.
