I currently live in Spain and have taught for ten years here, both in private language schools and as a private tutor. I have also taught on an academic English programme and a summer school programme for teenagers in the UK and at secondary school in Thailand.

I have a lot of experience teaching all ages and levels. My current students range from a four-year-old learning Spanish to a student preparing for the highest-level Cambridge exam. I teach business, general and exam English, and tailor each class to the individual or group. I am also a Spanish to English translator, so I can help you to create translations or perfect your work, if this is what you need.

WANT TO LEARN SPANISH?

Learning Spanish has been the most rewarding experience of my life and I want to share that joy with you!

If I can do it, you can too! I used to be too embarrassed about my mistakes and accent to be able to speak. I felt silly whenever I didn't understand what people were saying and I often got tongue-tied. Now, I speak fluent Spanish and am a qualified Spanish to English translator! The key is to focus on ways to navigate difficult situations and learn to feel proud of yourself for small victories. They all add up and soon you find loads of things starting to click in your brain! There's honestly nothing more satisfying. It takes effort and time, but I promise you, it's so worth it!

I'm a qualified English teacher and have taught for over ten years now. I apply this methodology, plus my own experience as a Spanish student, to help you achieve your goals. I have been a Spanish tutor for a couple of years, hold the DELE C1 Advanced certificate in Spanish and am married to a Spaniard!
