I will use a very student-friendly interactive method to teach students. It will involve comprehensive notes that are explained very clearly with nice colours and lots of diagrams, of course. In a broad spectrum, students are shown to learn well either with words or pictures, but I like to provide both to ensure students collectively understand the material. I will also make sure the material works for the student, if not, we can change it
My notes will be clearly explained, but not that they consume slides and take up insane amounts of pages or slideshows, as too much information can sometimes be overkill for students.
The dynamic of my lessons will be quite interactive for the student, so if this is something you are good at, then great! But if not, of course I understand, and we will take our time finding a dynamic that works best for both the student and myself. As everyone is different, I will cater to those needs, but I also do believe that everyone learns best when they both write, learn, and talk about the topic at hand.
I will also provide flashcards and any additional study material depending on the type of memory that is required for the subject, such as active recall.
I will help to ensure the student learns the topic well according to their needs, provide a kind, non-judgmental zone, and ensure the student is happy enough to get involved and ask me any questions if they are at all stuck with the topic.
