I will conduct an initial meeting with the parent/guardian and child, during which I will establish a baseline for the child using a short test in the chosen subject. I will then discuss number of sessions needed and end goals with the parent/guardian.
I am happy to provide online or face to face tutoring. I can come to the residence of the child or I have a calm working environment at my own residence if that is more preferable.
During the hour sessions, I will focus on a specific area that the child needs support within the chosen subject. Once I am happy with the level of understanding of the child in the topic I will then provide test questions for them to complete independently. This will then be marked and once full marks are achieved we will then move on to the next topic.
I will provide short feedback at the end of each session and then will arrange a time for a more in depth discussion with the parent/guardian to ensure clarity on the progress being made in the allotted timeframe.
I also offer rewards and certificates to pupils at key progress points as an extra incentive.
