Pupils prepared for all levels in French and ESOL, and to GCSE in Latin.
Recently I have helped pupils to enter Eton, Harrow and Winchester: two were awarded 1sts and one has just completed a Ph. D. (Cantab.).
Tuition is tailored to each pupil's needs.

I spent 20+ years as an Inspector, twinned Pangboutne and Houdan and translated five books and carried out legal translations for Macmillan.

I do not engage in online lessons since I want to see each pupil's response on his/her linguistic journey. I link French and Latin, when appropriate.

My fees start at £40 per hour rising to £60 per hour
My travelling costs are 45p per mile each way.

My ambitions for my pupils are those of my alma mater in Durham -"Vel primus vel cum primis" - and they do achieve their goals!
