I have developed a strong foundation in English language and literature as well a breadth of knowledge about the art world and I am eager to share my knowledge with others. Originally from Hong Kong and having studied for many different testing systems such as DSE, A Levels (A*A*A*), IELTS (8/9) and so on, I am very familiar with working with rigorous curriculum and challenging exams, I am confident that I will able to assist students in achieving excellence in their academics and qualifications. My breadth of subjects that I undertook in university also allows me to provide engaging and alternative multi-disciplinary ways of learning a subject, whether it is Languages, History or Art.
Further, my work and volunteering experience is mostly focused in research and working with children. In my role as a student researcher for the University of St Andrews’ museums, I have conducted extensive research and writing on various topics. I am confident that I can provide insightful and engaging lessons on this platform too. I have experience working with students of all ages and skill levels. In previous volunteering experiences, I have worked with children by teaching them languages, architecture and design, and by providing homework help. I am confident that I can provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment that will inspire students to explore their creativity and develop their skills.
