I have been tutoring children since the age of 16, both in school and at home. I grew to enjoy it as I found joy in helping students understand and realise that what they thought to be difficult, was now easy for them.
The Method I like to use is introducing a variety of different ways to solve one thing, and finding which is easier for that specific student, and ten sticking to that method. This was they can explore that specific challenge and become comfortable handling it.
Also, I believe in letting the students think for themselves, instead of telling them the solution or answer right away, as this way they become much more attentive and engaged in the activity.
Along with teaching the students and helping them gain a good understanding, I believe that independent study and homework are essential for every student, in order to refresh and engrave the knowledge; so that is something that I always implement in my own teaching.
I would also like to acknowledge that although I may be young, I have had a great deal of experience and believe I have a calm and effective teaching style, along with the ability to relate with students and make them feel comfort around me, and I also am still tutoring for family friends and also my own sibling along with studying myself.
If you happen to have any concerns or any questions, please don’t feel hesitant to ask.
Many thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you. :)
