As an experienced teacher with over 15 years in education, I have developed both online and in-person techniques to ensure my students understanding and mastery in reading and writing. My lessons tend to differ to meet each individual student's needs, however, I generally begin with an introduction to the material and engage in a conversation to asses your understanding of the content. After the introductory mini-lesson, we'll do a few exercises together and end the lesson with you doing an activity on your own so that I can assess how well you have understood the material. I don't like to lecture too much as English is more about engaging with the literature rather than listening to someone else talk about it. Rather, I bring up questions to help you connect with the literature in a meaningful way by having my students lead the discussions.
